Review of Cashback (2007) by Daniel P — 15 Mar 2010
It speaks on a myriad of topics, and only manages to dole out slight wisdom. It's methodic approach to portraying average nightlife at a boring supermarket almost put me to sleep. Sure, the line between reality and fantasy is blended a little bit but never to any dangerous degree.
I liked it. But maybe thats because most of what the narrator says is true. Most of it anyways. I like it, even though its a little dull at times. It still serves a purpose. My only complaint is that they could have done this movie without so much nudity.
It's really more of a film for art majors in college than anything.
