Review of Cashback (2007) by Mychal S — 27 Mar 2010
It has its share of charm, and I thought its treatment of a break up as the most uber-dramatic, world shattering event in a person's life was cleverly (and very awarely) done. It's also shot quite well for someone's first film, and a lot of it is very imaginative, although once Ellis loses material from his short film, it becomes much more rote, cliche, long, and a little tedious.
Not a bad way to spend some time, have a few laughs, and see quite a few very attractive naked ladies.
