Review of Cashback (2007) by Tiffany H — 02 Jul 2010
Sean Ellis truly impresses with this thoughtful, lovely gem of a film that's equal parts comedic and sweet. Although there are points where the indie elements threaten to turn gimmicky, the overall use of artistic erotica and fantasy is executed effectively, heightening that aching sense of yearning that is universally experienced in life, and most poignantly, during the midst of unyielding heartbreak.
