Review of Case 39 (2009) by Matthew M — 19 Feb 2011
The extremely dough-faced Renee Zellweger squeaks and squawks her way into insanity in this glorified B-movie. The plot is your bog standard seemingly good child gone bad, and the supporting cast, particularly Ian McShane (of Lovejoy fame), go a long way to covering Zellweger's shortcomings.
However the problem with these possessed child movies remains the same - IT'S ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE!
