Review of Case 39 (2009) by Amanda Ø — 15 Apr 2011
Horribly predictable movie. It's nothing new, and the characters aren't that intelligent either. To put it simply, I thought this flick was pretty dumb, and kind of boring. I didn't really enjoy the storyline, as it was kind of blatant, and well, I just didn't like it much.
Though Jodelle as Lilith was a pretty well portrayed actress. Otherwise the others were pretty average. I think there are too many movies with sociopath, plain bad children, and of course stupid characters to just make things more complex and dumbfound for everyone else in the flick, kind of reminds me of some kind of crap-related death chain reaction with everyone involved.
I guess I'm pretty sick of these kinds of flicks, especially dealing with the oh, the supernatural children! Though this movie was maybe, somewhat entertaining? It kind of failed to be interesting enough or have a slightly good plotline, or perhaps, not a lame one at that.
I thought this movie was a drag, cause I almost predicted the whole thing before even half into the flick. I don't necessarily think Renee Zellweger took the role all that greatly either. Overall, kind of a dull film, but it was.
. maybe alright.
