Review of Case 39 (2009) by Randy R — 18 Sep 2011
This was better than what I expected, but it does have some questionable flaws that left me asking if this needed some work, which clearly, it does. I thought the suspence was passible and there were some good scenes.
The editing is probably what save it for me because this was a film, from the inception that needed to paced slowly. the film's score was a dissapointing mess, as it didn't have the acknowlegement type of cues that most suspence dramas, thrillers and horror films have.
Renee Zellwegger and Jodelle Ferland did a good, at best job with there performances, but that is pretty much it. This is a movie that is not ownership material. It's better if you rent it or watch it on Epix, if it's available in your area.
