This is considered the second greatest movie of all time. So how could a 70-year-old flick possibly live up to that kind of hype... It's outdated, right? Old fashioned? Cheesy? The jokes fall flat on contemporary cynical ears? Wrong, Nope, Sorry, and NOT EVEN CLOSE.
This movie is outstanding and I'm ashamed I just saw it for the first time. But, at least it was on the big screen, and it was glorious!
