Review of Casablanca (1943) by Nico D — 16 Jun 2012

I discovered today Casablanca, I truly understand why this film has been so much praised. A little bit slow at the beginning, and then I was totally captivated by the intrigue. Some slight details about the French and Moroccan characters were ridiculous.

However, this is a real masterpiece, 70 years old and it's still much more entertaining than plenty of films that have been released lately, despite what directors are able to do technically these days, Casablanca stays a reference.
