This is how the Hollywood romance drama should be made. Michael Curtiz's masterpiece never diminishes with age (70 years old), and the characters really are entertaining. Max Steiner's music was fantastic, the cast top-notch, and the direction amazing; Humphrey Bogart and Claude Rains were perfect as Rick and Louie, and made me feel what they were going through, and Ingrid Bergman was wonderful as Ilsa.
Sure, Citizen Kane is the greatest movie ever made, but this is the most-loved film by fans and critics. Surely one of my favorite films of all time, and always will be.
