Review of Casablanca (1943) by Ken S — 27 Feb 2014

Now as opposed to "Citizen Kane", I really got and liked "Casablanca" from my first viewing. I think it has all the great cinematography, but with even better acting and a more engaging story.

I can see this being known as the best film ever made, because it doesn't feel all that dated...I didn't have to know who William Randolph Hearst is to really get the impact the film made. It also has great quotable dialogue - both funny and dramatic, as well as some fantastic lighting, a good cast.

..and a top notch story.
