Review of Casablanca (1943) by Nicky S — 22 May 2014
A great, sentimental, poignant tale, this movie is full of romance - both the surface and deep parts of love. The setting is great - it almost feels like a dream on the brink of ending at some points - the acting is great by everyone, the characters are great (Capt.
Renault is an especially great character), and overall, while not the best film in cinema, it certainly deserves its reputation as a Hollywood classic.
