Review of Casablanca (1943) by Jc E — 16 Jul 2015
Beautiful black and white classic made over 70 years ago. Like a broken record, the tune of "As time goes by" will replay over and over again in your mind after the film has ended. Screen legend Ingrid Bergman was young beautiful and so talented in the film that she would definitely leave an indelible impression on us viewers.
Humphrey acts well as the alpha male leading role but he was not handsome enough for Ingrid, in my opinion. Someone like Marlon Brando or Dirk Bogarde or Clark Gable would have been the perfect pairing with Ingrid.
