Review of Casablanca (1943) by Paul D — 03 Sep 2016
A great, timeless film. This is a masterpiece in every way: story, dialogue, acting, characters, lighting, music, pace. Bogart and Bergman are brilliant, as is the entire cast. And the film stays fresh even today with a special mix of devil-may care attitude and serious topics, both personal and political.
A monument.
