Review of Casablanca (1943) by Jeronimo B — 01 May 2017
Well lets start of with this, I have not seen a movie better than Casablanca. You the viewer say Why?. Because this movie made cinema the perfect most artistic place it is today, with quotes like~ Heres looking at you, kid, everybody has heard that quote before, it comes from beloved Academy Award Winner Casablanca who won best picture and director starting Humphrey Bogart and the beautiful Ingrid Bergman as Ilsa and Rick.
The plot is about a man called Rick that needed to go to Casablanca for refugee because of the 2nd WW, Rick meets the love of her life and gets more secrets from her. This movie of course is brilliant it had excellent choreographed dance sequences, excellent directing, and one of the best plots to have ever put to the big screen. What makes this movie so special is how the romance is handled by the excellent directing of Michael Curtiz, he manages to put suspense, humour, romance in a perfect way. The movie also has incredible performances from Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman and by the underrated Conrad Veidt. In conclusion this movie is the best movie that hollywood has ever put on its big screen and it gets a.
