Review of Casablanca (1943) by Jonathan C — 09 Sep 2017
Casablanca (1942) has an art for its' critics, but for its' audience it's Rick (Humphrey Bogart) and Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman). At first is is really hard to tell what makes this movie so great, and after watching it several times I think I know why. To point out much deeper, the wrongness of human life is one of many reasons why the two can never be in love. It's something that few can identify with. The pacing is both quick and slow (for its' moments). The film's director; Michael Curtiz creates the ultimate art in disguise kind of movie. Definitely a favorite.
Score: A+ GREAT!!!
