Review of Casablanca (1943) by John W — 03 May 2015
A film that epitomizes one of the things I love most about cinema that is too often overlooked in our modern day where "true film elitists" believe that only the truly gloomy and nihilistic are worthy of note.
A film that touches on the darkness in our world, but gives us something to aspire to. A film that's all about pulling ones-self out of apathy in order to try to make a difference, even if it comes with great sacrifice.
