Review of Cartel Land (2015) by Dave M — 16 Jul 2015
Good documentary 3/5 - I didn't really feel like it shed any new light on the situation though. Previous documentaries that I've watched have revealed government officials and police partner with cartels.
Cartels end up with everyone in their pocket - on their payroll and the Drug Machine just keeps on rolling. You realize that the poverty in Mexico has really forced most citizens hands into producing Meth and other substances.
Putting yourself in their shoes - it's a hard to say that you would different given the options they have.
