Review of Cartel Land (2015) by Devon M — 25 Jan 2016
It starts off as what looks to be a profile of the failed drug war from Mexican and American perspectives but ends up being character studies about two people on opposite sides of the border taking action against a problem they feel they can no longer ignore/tolerate.
You end up learning alot about them so you don't see them as archetypes but instead as people, as they struggle against a drug epidemic that consumes the world around them.
Great documentary.
