Review of Cars 3 (2017) by Kenneth S — 29 Jun 2017
A decade and a year ago, I saw the first Cars film when I was 10 years old. I really enjoyed it. Then Cars 2 came and turned out to be garbage, but I didn't saw it in Theaters because I didn't know there was a 2nd one.
So I came to see this 3rd one and give Pixar another chance after the 2nd one was just trash...
It was better than the 2nd one and not filled with too much Mater in it. The plot and storyline with Cruz and Lightning together was good, and the goal of lightning wanting to beat Storm was great too! However, I felt a little disappointed that lightning decided to quit and didn't even cross the finish line.
It made me felt I didn't liked that part, but Cruz's past of her being judged not as a race car then changing her life on the race track was good! It even shows how much Lightning cares about her and that's what I liked about that plot line.
The ending was great too! It showed how much Doc Hudson taught lightning and how lightning has taught Cruz. Just shows you how friendship goals should be. This was better than the 2nd one!
I give this 3 stars. It wasn't as good as the 1st and 2nd one, but it was better than the last one. And what's with the aging part of this movie? I've seen other Pixar films and the character's don't age except for this one? What kind of idea is this?
But it would of been better if Lightning won against storm, maybe I would of liked it even better.
