When Cars 3 was announced, all I could think was "I hope it is better than Cars 2 and not some politically correct preaching about the environment". It managed to meet both expectations for me.
Is it as good as the first movie? No. However, it is FAR better than Cars 2. I have read some reviews that people consider this as some attempt at 'girl power'. Well, Ghostbusters 2016 was a liberal, 'girl power' movie - and it was HORRIBLE.
This movie has a small touch of it, but it was not enough to make me leave or not enjoy the movie. I highly recommend it.
