Review of Cars 3 (2017) by Ekene O — 16 Jun 2017

This was actually a really good movie. I really wasn't expecting much because of Part 2 not being very good but this movie really impressed me. It was a good comeback. It also delivered a good message. The animation looked amazing and sets new standards. It just looked so clean. It looked really cool in 3D. Now I don't think this is Pixar's best work but that doesn't make this movie bad. I'm actually glad they made this movie. There were some parts where I laughed but not enough scenes that made me laugh. But this movie is more than that. I think it went into more depth with the characters. And it really had more dealing with Doc Hudson's passing. Part two just said " oh well he's dead". This movie went into more depth. The story was a lot better than part two. Overall I really enjoyed this movie. I'd recommend it. I don't think I'd go to see it again in theaters but that doesn't mean it's not good. The animation looks really good and sets new animation standards. I'm glad Cars can end its trilogy in a good way. Perfect ending to Cars. A.

Extra stuff I liked about the movie: This movie brought back some characters from the first movie. Cars 2006 was the very first movie I ever saw in a movie theater. This movie connected well with the first one. It brings back some stuff from the first movie. This movie also completely forgets about part two. By the way just in my opinion part two really wasn't all that good.
