Cars 3 is a great film, don't get me wrong, but with all the trailers it really made it seem like it would be all about McQueen. However, while watching the film I definitely knew what was coming next.
The film didn't even try to be unpredictable. Having Cruz Ramirez race at the end is touching and shows change for McQueen from the first Cars movie, as he doesn't only think about himself. But me being a huge Lighting fan, it is a little disappointing to not have him win his last race, it almost seemed like he gave up.
Still, it is a great film for kids.
