A truly wonderful addition to the genre, Cars 3 manages to provide us yet again with excellent animation and storytelling. Effortlessly topping its predecessors in both areas. All the while staying true to the series established formula, and at the same time covering a lot of new ground.
As a whole, Cars 3 has quite a lot of familiar, but then again also fresh energy flowing in its engine. Easily one of the best films of the year.
