Cars 3 is interesting. It's interesting, because after Cars 2, it shouldn't have been as good as it ended up being. This was a great passing of the torch film and in my opinion, a proper follow-up to the original Cars and what will hopefully be a proper ending to the series.
The Cars franchise could technically go on forever because of the material and it's ability to make billions on toys, but unless they start doing straight-to-bluray movies, the series needs to be put to pasture.
