It may be Pixar's low point, but that's like complaining about bad sex: even when it's bad, it's pretty darn fun.
So what if it's WILDLY predictable until the very end; whatever Pixar animates is worth watching for that alone. The problem here is that the "cars", with all their great looks and sound, never manage to EMOTE like any of the great Pixar characters.
You think I'm wrong? Watch "Wall-E". You tell me that Lightning McQueen has HALF the personality of EITHER of those main robots--EVEN THOUGH NEITHER OF THEM CAN MANAGE A SENTENCE.
Case closed.
