Review of Cars (2006) by Jackson S — 21 Feb 2014
Some people take the piss out of this movie, but I've never been that hard on the movie because:
A. It's a movie about Talking cars how good did you think It was going to be.
B. At least it doesn't try to be deep or brooding like the other Pixar films, it's smart enough to realize that it's stupid and doesn't 'go there' (unlike it's infamous sequel).
But even with that, and the fact it is a damn good looking movie, it's value outside of being a never ending money geyser for the Disney company pretty much ends there.
