Cars was a rather large bump in the road for Pixar. The film has little for adults to enjoy, with an overdone story and mostly annoying characters. While the design of the characters is interesting, they are not entirely visually pleasing.
Despite this, the film is more than watchable, but it isn't a classic by any means.
