Review of Cars (2006) by Gavin P — 25 Jan 2016
A really well made kids film - flawed protagonist (McQueen/Wilson) who falls in love and becomes a better person (or car, rather), the wise elder who helps him (Doc/Newman), the love interest (Sally/Hunt), the funny sidekick (Mater/Larry the Cable Guy), and the rival (Chick/Keaton).
It just so happens that they're all cars - no humans exist in this world! Looks great, with it having a true story of what happened to towns on Route 66 after the Interstate highways bypassed them.
Very average music, but a great ending and a nice story, with plenty of funny moments too.
