Anyone who doesn't see the immense charm and humor in Cars is just trying to find a way to criticize Pixar. I readily admit that the plot is one you've seen a million times before, but that doesn't mean that Lasseter and company haven't told the same story amazingly well, with fresh nuances.
I, for one, had a smile on my face throughout the entire film, and put it on equal footing with every Pixar film ever made.
