Owen Wilson plays a race car rookie who's got a swelled head and needs a taste of reality. With a championship for the Piston Cup Wilson dreams of glory days to come, except in the mids of his ride to California his faithful and OVER worked truck Mack (John Rastenburger) loses him on a highway.
Wilson's journey begins on a Quaint and almost ghost town off Route 66.
