Review of Cars 2 (2011) by Owen J — 27 Aug 2012
The character friendship between Lightning McQueen and Mater is better than it was in the first, but the freshness of the first two is gone due to underplotted writing that starts off with mysterious thrills then fluctuates into a predictable machine.
The only new characters that are cool are Finn McMissile and Holly Shiftwell but couldn't the British Spy Gadgets have been more clever?
