Comparing to Cars I, I would not give more than 3 stars. There is way too much violence there, way too much hatred. This movie should be more for kids than adults I think. I enjoyed the first part mainly because of its peaceful atmosphere of abandoned Route 66. Okey, James Bond idea is good, but watching on James Bond as on the actor in the supporting role seems weird. The whole movie was more about McQueen's tow truck friend Mater. I don't mind that, however, as I expect more Cars movies, the second one could still have been morw about McQueen.
Anyway, animation was splendid, car portfolio was amazing and I am sure there are tens of funny bits I missed and I would catch if watching the movie the next time.
