I think they just tried to put too much stuff into one movie and the plot simply fails badly. Of course it looks cool and I really like all the smallest details they have put attention to when making the Car World.

But why make things so complicated here and also for non-English kids (which are not exactly just one or two) I felt many of the names were really complicated to spell. I wonder how they thought it for the franchising point of view too since the joke of Shiftwell doesn't really go through (they spell it instead Sh*twell).

I agree to some other comments this was the worst Pixar production I have seen so far and if there wasn't whole this Cars franchising no one would be interested of this movie or its characters one minute after seeing it.
