Review of Carry On Nurse (1959) by Bill T — 26 Nov 2014
Oddly enough, just like Carry On Sergeant, the cast (which is, in large part, the same as the first), won me over with it's heart, when it really shouldn't. Essentially just a series of short gags set in a hospital.
Hardly any character development. But this works. Why? Maybe it's just because noone is wasted, all the characters are interesting. Nothing lke ths could be pulled off today.
