Pointless remake that really has nothing new to say or no ideas of its own. Cholea Grace Moretz never quite gels in the role ad suffers in comparison to Sissy Spacek iconic performance. Judy Greet and Julianne Moore are very good though.
Lazily directed by Kimberly Pearce who directed the great Boys Don't Cry.
