Review of Carrie (2013) by Cheyenne D — 06 Mar 2014
Carrie White is a girl with a lot of problems. She's emotionally and physically abused by her crazed mother, students at her school bully her, and now she has to deal with her growing telepathic powers.
This remake had big shoes to fill remaking a camp classic and, for the most part, it succeeds. There's nothing new here and, worst yet, the final showdown is terribly anticlimactic.
