Review of Carrie (2013) by Daniel S — 17 Mar 2014

I'm a big fan of stephen king, and am not opposed to remakes as long as they do something new or different with the material, this version does 2 things better than the 76 version, which is actually cast a teenage girl in the lead, and gets rid of the weird tone conflicts from the original, other than that tho, it's almost a scene for scene remake of the 76 version, just with some gorier kills, and a few more details added that are kinda pointless, in the end it's not really that memorable, and the 76 one, while not perfect by any means, at least stayed with you for a while.
