Review of Carrie (2013) by Lena B — 09 Jul 2015
The only interesting/scary moments in this film were during scenes documenting carries abusive mother. Therefore it seems more of a drama than a horror movie. More about an abused girl who has telekinesis rather then a haunted supernatural girl who also has an abusive mother.
I really appreciated the scenes where there was discussion of religion and the intersection of over zelous parenting and abusive parenting.
