Review of Carrie (2013) by Ethan R — 12 Jul 2014
A remake of a movie of a Stephen King masterpiece, because we can't do without too much of those. We are seeing too much of Chloe Grace Mortez these days, it's almost as if the director thought that she'd be perfect to portray Carrie so let's remake the movie.
I guess she is pretty well when she was younger, but seems ordinary now. It's downhill from Let me in. Even the movie is not done pretty well, the only excitement that it exuded maybe because of the writing itself.
Although with even a 'modern twist' it's still a pretty bad ass story. Gotta say, I did not enjoy it much as when I was reading it. Not a totally bad watch. The High school stuff was awful, as always.
Other than that, not too bad.
