There's something about the original 1976 Carrie that got me excited. It had that energy, the excitement to it. I thought this remake could've been decent, but found little enjoyment from it. Aside from Julianne Moore's good performance as Margaret White (Carrie's crazed mother), and a good revenge sequence, there is just nothing new about this movie.
It's an exact copy of Carrie (1976) just less exciting and suspensful, and..boring! The only main difference is it's modern dary, and has cell phones! Overall, this remake is unnecessary and pointless.
Stick to the 1976 Carrie, and skip this one! 4/10.
