This remake was not as good as the original in some aspects. Which means, as for the cast.. some were good and some did not prove themselves for their role. More specifically, Julianne Moore.. I don't think she was the best for the crazy mother. The original cast for the mother was way better.
As for the ending of this film, it was well done and I find it much better and more action were shown.
