Review of Carrie (2002) by Lasse C — 14 Apr 2014
Completely superfluous remake. Just like all other recent remakes it "prides" itself with not being a remake but a re-imagining of the source material. However, it would have suited this film to have taken a few pages from de Palma's original as this is no more than a glorified teen drama complete with lousy acting, stereotypes, and as much bite as a newborn baby.
