Review of Carrie (2002) by Trent G — 02 Jun 2014
A MUCH better adaptation of the novel that better developed Carrie, her mother & their relationship, and the anger felt by Chris to get back at Carrie. Plus, this one had the great scene between Chris's dad & the principal, which I thoroughly enjoyed in the book.
Moretz & Moore were great, and the Sue Snell character was much more connected to the story. The ending made much more sense & had no plot holes (unlike De Palma's ending). I thoroughly enjoyed this one, & they made it fit with the times.
