"Carol" is a study in human magnetism and shows us how beautiful mad love can be and asks can it endure through adversity.
Perfectly acted, with sparse dialogue and restrained drama, the film is a symphony of angles and glances, of colors and shadows. Todd Haynes once again manages through unspoken movement, gestures and silences to reach such powerful range of emotions that will leave you breathless.
