Review of Carol (2015) by Dalton V — 27 Dec 2015
While the film is beautiful to behold, the chemistry between the leads is uninvolved and emotionless outside prolonged vacant stares out car windows, and while Carol could have been a deft commentary or critique of repression at the time or even generational gaps, Carol proves to be a listless, lulling, and all around empty Fabre egg.
