Thoughtful examination of the struggles of lesbian women in 1950's America. Showing how the intersecting lives of of a rich housewife and a young woman just coming of age brings profound changes. The cars, the clothes, the music, the style and the culture of the era are beautifully represented.
As is the conformity and the repression.
