Review of Carol (2015) by Tiina N — 25 Jan 2016
Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett shine in this love story of two women from completely different worlds. Set in the 50's and beautifully shot with a delicate touch appropriate to the story. Carol and Therese seem to live in their own universe while the claustrophobic closed mindedness of the society is ever present.
This film lingers in your mind long after it's over.
