Review of Carol (2015) by Louella K — 23 Mar 2016
A strong cast indeed, this movie draws you with the depth of emotion Cate exudes while Mara wonderfully portrays the innocence of her youth and inquisitiveness. This movie keeps you drawn, makes your heart drop into your stomach and then skillfully lifts your spirit at the end but makes you skirm at it's abrupt finish (because you want to see more of the happy ending).
A beautiful finish nonetheless.
