Beautifully Made, Beautifully Acted and suttle in the craftsmanship and detail of the film, it provides an excellent vehicle for Todd Haynes' to provide hints throughout the story to slowly present the relationship between Cate and Rooney.
However, the movie left me cold as it was difficult to emotionally connect to the characters throughout the film. A good film, but a difficult one to sit through.
