There just aren't enough words to describe the sheer of brilliance and cinematic vision displayed by Todd Haynes. Everything works at its absolute best -from an electrifyingly poignant music by Carter Burwell, to the outstanding cinematography to the heart-filled performances by both Blanchett and Mara-.
Carol is pure joy and sensibility. One of the great achievements of contemporary art.
